At Ideasranking, our goal is to spread ideas. We encourage the Ideasranking community, non-profit organizations, bloggers, companies news media, and the like to share Ours post that are open for distribution, through social media, other platforms and public events. While sharing ideas openly is a big part of who we are, we do license our content under certain conditions listed below.

Information you provide directly to us
When signing up as a subscriber to ideasranking, We may collect your personal information to manage, store and process subscriber information, including your name, email address and if provided, your subscriber ID. No personal payment information is collected, as it is only provided directly to the platform provider for Ideasranking subscriptions where such subscriptions are available. Ideasranking does not collect, process or store any personal information from subscribers of Ideasranking unless a user contacts Ideasranking directly via support.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Who we share your data with
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Our GDPR update
As of May 25, 2018, a new privacy law, the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) goes into effect. As a result, Ideasranking (IDR) has implemented a number of updates in various areas across our organization to ensure we comply with the intent and spirit of the law.
Here is a summary of updates IDR has implemented. We have:
- added consent options where users submit their personal information to ensure they are aware and agree to submitting their information prior to completing a form.
- updated our vendor agreements with those third parties that manage data as a data processor on our behalf, to ensure they have appropriate safeguards in place to process, manage and secure data as required.
- implemented new disclosures on all our forms where users submit their data so that users are aware of how IDR processes their information.
- modified our internal processes to ensure we have a way to contact users in the event that there is a breach in data storage of your personal information.
- created a new way for users to reach out to [email protected] about any privacy issues, such as questions or requests for modifications including deactivation of any account.
Steps we take to protect your privacy
To protect and prevent unauthorized access to your personal information, maintain data accuracy, prevent accidental loss, destruction, damage or theft of data, IDR implements and maintains security and organizational measures with commercially reasonable physical, technical and administrative controls. Please note that no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
Remember, when visiting a third-party site from ideasranking.com, we do not control the privacy policies of other parties, so please check before browsing on those sites to ensure you agree with their terms.
Children under age
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we learn that we have collected any personal information from a child under the age of 13 or under the age of 16 from the European Union without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it from our database as quickly as possible. If you believe that we may have collected information from a child under age, please contact us.
Deactivating your account and managing privacy settings
You can request that your account be deactivated at any time by contacting us. When your account is deactivated, your user profile and all public activities (such as comments) will be hidden. You can also manage who can view your ideasranking.com profile activity in the Privacy tab of your profile’s account settings. To unsubscribe from our newsletter, click on the link at the bottom of the newsletter you have received, or you can manage your subscriptions from your ideasranking.com profile. For any other changes regarding your personal data, please contact us with your request and we will respond to you promptly.
Deactivating target advertising
